Relationships are a whirlwind of emotions. You may be happy, sad, confusing, exciting, exhausting and joyous, everything at the same time. It’s a common assumption that a perfect relationship has no arguments, but this is not true. Everyone is bound to think about things differently than others, all have unique thoughts and this should not be lost while in a relationship. When you spend a lot of time with someone, breakouts are natural and it shows that both of you want your own space.
Being in a relationship is not that easy, a huge amount of effort is put in it to make it work. You have to deal with ups and downs from time to time in order to have a healthy relationship.

Open Communication:
Communication is the key; you have probably heard this over and over again. Healthy couples do not avoid conflicts, they work their way out of it without hurting each other. Tough conversations can be difficult but they pull you closer to each other and give you a chance to know more about your partner. Don’t shy away from arguments, sit and talk about your feelings and how you want to continue further.
Be Your Individual Self:
A relationship is formed with 2 willing people wanting to share and make memories. However, it’s a big problem if you start to adjust yourself and cater to their needs more. There should always be a balance between group activities and alone time. Don’t wear yourself out because it’s necessary that both of you have your own wants and ways to achieve things. A happy couple embraces each other’s differences and individuality.
Make Small Things Count:
Of course you will celebrate birthdays and anniversaries along with some milestones but don’t let go of the minute things. Small things are what it takes to make or break a relationship. When you are in a long term relationship, it’s natural you cease to give importance to such things, they feel everyday things. Make each day count with small moments you steal, like randomly bring them flowers or compliment them after a stressful day. This makes them feel safe and loved!
Relationships are all things nice with a little bit of problems, or maybe a lot of problems. At the end of the day, you continue with it because you know that you want to fight for that person and not give up. All the things you bear are because of this one thing: love. Although, sometimes you might disagree, it’s important that you share your views while respecting their opinions. Whenever there is a fight, always remember, it’s both of you against the problem not you vs. your partner. It is better to have a healthy and happy bonding with your partner!
